Applications are open for Newcastle University’s prestigious scholarship schemes for 2026 entry.

Newcastle University is pleased to offer partial Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships to assist international students to study a postgraduate Master’s degree.The tuition fee awards is £8,000.

Duration of your course.

4. Application Closing Date

Awards will be offered throughout the academic year before the start of the student’s degree.

5. Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for awards applicants must:
• be domiciled in of one of the following countries/regions: Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey*, UAE, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam or Zimbabwe.
• have been offered a place to study on an eligible Master’s degree course at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2026/27 academic year
• be assessed as international for fee purposes
Scholarships will be awarded automatically to eligible applicants.

6. How To Apply

Eligible candidates will automatically be awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship as part of their academic course application.
