Applications are open for Newcastle University’s prestigious scholarship schemes for 2026 entry.

Through these scholarships, Newcastle University aims to:

1. Overview
  • Newcastle University is pleased to offer partial Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships to assist international students to study a postgraduate Master’s degree.The tuition fee awards is £8,000.

  • September 2026

  • Duration of your course.

  • Awards will be offered throughout the academic year before the start of the student’s degree. 

  • To be considered for awards applicants must:

    • be domiciled in of one of the following countries/regions: Algeria, Australia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Egypt, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Malaysia, Mexico, Morocco, Myanmar, Nepal, Norway, Peru, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey*, UAE, Ukraine, USA, Uzbekistan, Vietnam or Zimbabwe.

    • have been offered a place to study on an eligible Master’s degree course at the University’s Newcastle city centre campus for the 2026/27 academic year

    • be assessed as international for fee purposes

    Scholarships will be awarded automatically to eligible applicants.

  • Eligible candidates will automatically be awarded a Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship as part of their academic course application.
