• AYO Activator members are consist of the AYO Secretariat team members, the AYO Chapter members, and all affiliates organization such as AYO Enviro, AYO Academy, AYO Recent, and others. Every AYO Activator have different responsibilities depending on their Department. Below are the Organization structure;

  • Activator & Ambassador team members may create/implement/contribute projects under the ASEAN Youth organization based on the ASEAN Youth Organization' program plan for 2021-2025 that inline with the ASEAN Work Plan on Youth by the ASEAN Secretariat.

    ASEAN Youth Organization also have the annual program plan quarterly. The program theme will be different each year and will be disseminated to every chapters and members through the community engagement team of the AYO Secretariat.

AYO Town Hall is a mandatory monthly meeting. Below is the schedule of Town Hall 2022:

If an Activator member does not attend the Town Hall 3 times in a row and do not inform the hq@aseanyouth.net, you will receive a dismissal letter from ASEAN Youth Organization and you will no longer be a part of the AYO Activator team. Refer to our Constitution at Article IV point 1.1.4 about Suspension of membership due to undisciplined action.

Please notify hq@aseanyouth.net if you cannot attend the Town Hall at least 3 days before the Town Hall Meeting.

ASEAN Youth Organization provides a Certificate of Appreciation to every Activator Member who has a minimum 6 months contribution to the organization with a good work result and does not violate any regulations of the organization (Check AYO Constitution for further detail). You can request the e-Certificate by sending an email to hq@aseanyouth.net with the format below;

Appointment Letter

ASEAN Youth Organization will provide an appointment letter to every new Activator Member (If needed). The appointment letter will be created by the Directors/Heads of the respective’ division/department/chapter.

  1. Headquarter Members >> Request to Department Directors or Head of Division.
  2. Chapter/Network members >> Request to Country Director or Local Administration Manager.

Recommendation Letter

We support every Activator’s personal development. You can request a recommendation letter from ASEAN Youth Organization signed by the Founder/President/Managing Director with the requirements below;

  1. Minimum 6 (six) months contributions to the ASEAN Youth Organization
  2. Have a good work ethic within the team and good achievement during the period of work in ASEAN Youth Organization.
  3. Able to show the work result/achievement under AYO

  1. Foundation Registration; ASEAN Youth Organization registered legally in Indonesia under the name “Yayasan AYO Muda International“. AYO also registered as a Social Enterprise in Singapore under the name AYO Social Enterprise Pte. Ltd. (AYOSE).
  2.  AYO received the endorsement letter for ASEAN name from ASEAN Secretariat. If you require or need the legal document for any official purposes, please contact legal@aseanyouth.net
  3. AYO has the Main Constitutions and all chapter/networks that legally registered in the country are required to use the Main Constitution as guideline and local constitution. Every Activator Member are required to read and understand properly the AYO Constitution. Please read AYO Constitutions

ASEAN Youth Organization has 3 Main Department Pillars, which is Youth Empowerment, Economic Enhancement, and Social Volunteerism. Every pillar has its own signature program with different goal and objectives. Every creator members are allowed to join or involve to the programs for FREE depending on the term and condition for each program.

Who can do a project under AYO?

  • Everyone in ASEAN Youth Organization are eligible to create a project using the name of ASEAN Youth Organization as long as following the AYO Project regulations and rule.
  • Any organization partners are also eligible to create a project under ASEAN Youth Organization with the supervision of ASEAN Youth Organization Creator team and approved by Headquarter Project Development.
  • Every AYO Ambassador are allowed to create projects under supervision of Youth Empowerment Department and alligned with the department’s regulations.

If you want to do a project under ASEAN Youth Organization please to check the requirement below;

  1. Prepare the Project Proposal or Concept Note (CN) of the event. Please see the CN Example before you create the document. You can download the CN Template here.

After completion of the project, every project leader/manager is being required to create a project report, and submit the report to the Department of Project Development maximum 14 days after the project finished.

In order to get a better reach and exposure, all projects under AYO must be uploaded on aseanyouth.net website. Every chapter/network should assign the Operation Manager/ Local Project Manager to upload the content.

  2. Submit your CN to project@aseanyouth.net minimum 4 weeks before the implementation or depend on the size of the project. A bigger project may need longer preparation.
  3. After you received the approval from PD team, you can start preparing the project (Collateral, Funding, Registration, Partnerships, etc)

Finance

Transparency is one of the key for the organization’s sustainability. Under Finance Division, the ASEAN Youth Organization divided into 2 different sub-division, Treasury and Financial Administration. Under Treasury sub-division, the team are responsible to control and manage the organization’s sustainability in terms of funding and its strategy. While, under Financial Administration Division, the team members are responsible with the management and administration for the organization.
