The A.Y.O Ambassador Program is a program for 100 youths across Southeast Asia, which is a cordial commitment of the ASEAN youths to the local, regional community, and people. The AYO Ambassador Program aims to establish an ASEAN-wide network of youths across Southeast Asia who will serve as the point lead for outreach in a designated region.

As a medium for youth empowerment, the program works with participants to implement projects that address either an ASEAN-wide or community-based issue of their interest. We do so by conducting a series of training and workshops for the participants to equip youth ambassadors with the necessary, hard, and soft skills as well as domain knowledge to build sustainable changes. Each year, the Programme adjusts its theme of the training.

In 2020, The AYO Ambassador program was successfully conducted and created more than 70,000 impacts on society. Approximately 100 Youth ambassadors from many different countries were received 6 months of intensive training and created many activities under their programs.

This program is a FREE of Charge program. So, apply now and be a part of the ASEAN Youth Organization Family!

The Programme goals are:

1. To expand its reach among youths within ASEAN as well as increase awareness of the ASEAN.
2. To empower ASEAN youths to take a more active role in the area of civic education, community service, and youth leadership development, sub-themes such as entrepreneurship, innovation, multiculturalism, and environmental protection as well as open new fundraising opportunities.
3. To train and equip a new generation of ASEAN youths with practical skills, peacebuilding tools, integrity, and sensitivity to the diverse perspective of others.
4. To create opportunities for further cooperation and collaboration and follow-up activities between participants and alumni.
