Applications are now open for the fully funded University of Tokyo ADB Scholarship 2025, offered by the Asian Development Bank. This prestigious scholarship allows international students from ADB member countries to pursue a master’s degree at the University of Tokyo for the fall semester of 2025. With more than 300 scholarships awarded annually, the program aims to support talented students in achieving higher education without financial burdens, covering all expenses, including tuition fees, travel, and living costs.

To be eligible for the ADB Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a national of an ADB member country.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with an excellent academic record.
  • Have at least two years of full-time professional working experience at the time of application.
  • Be proficient in English, with no requirement for IELTS or Japanese language proficiency.
  • Be 35 years old or younger at the time of application.

  • Two Confidential Recommendation Letters

  3. Find a Supervisor: Identify a supervisor in your field of interest within Environmental Studies or GPSS-GLI at the University of Tokyo.
  4. Online Application: Fill out the online application form accurately and completely.
  5. Recommendation Letters: Submit recommendation letters directly from recommenders to the International Liaison Office by 10 December 2024.
