About ASEAN Youth Sustainability Forum

Bangkok, 9-11 October 2025

The ASEAN Youth Sustainability Forum (AYSF) serves as the collective voice of ASEAN Youth on climate change and sustainability (CC&S). AYSF is a platform for sharing knowledge, facilitating discussions, and co-creating solutions to address sustainable development in Southeast Asia from a youth perspective.

Organized in celebration of ASEAN 2045: Our Shared Future, the three-day program encompasses capacity-building workshops, focus group discussions, site visits, and is driven by action-driven outcomes that encourage participants to implement projects in their communities.

Objective and Outcomes

Knowledge Experience

Facilitate cross-sectoral cross-border, inter-generational knowledge and ideas.

Education and Awareness

Enhance awareness in CC&S challenges in ASEAN and Green Skills for the Future.

Regional Collaboration

Promote networking among AMS youth to enhance regional cooperation on CC&S

Inspire and Empower

Encourage youth to step up as changemakers to implement localized solutions

Cultural Immersion

Enhance Cultural Intelligence and Experience Bangkok’s vibrant cultural atmosphere.

Requirement

Youth aged between 16 to 35 years old (inclusive).
Nationals and/or residents of Southeast Asian (ASEAN) and China.
Current undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Fresh graduates, entrepreneurs, and young professionals.
Youth CSO/NGO leaders.
Youth with a demonstrated interest in climate change, sustainable development, and circular economy in ASEAN.
Youth who possess a valid passport (minimum 6 months before the expiry date) or who are able and willing to obtain a passport.
Youth who can commit to all onsite program components.

Program Pricing

Local Thai National: 52 USD or equal to IDR 845,317
ASEAN Citizen and International 300 USD or equal to IDR 4,876,830
Rater 1 USD = 16,256 USD (Flat) per August 9, 2025.
