The total duration of the AYO Ambassador Program is 6 months, including 2 months of Recruitment and campaign, 2 months of Training, and 2 months of Project Implementation.

Yes, this program is also designed for every youth with various backgrounds. As long as you are interested in Youth Development, have willingness to learn, and age between 15-21 years old, you can apply this program.

Yes, you may apply to this program, but please ensure your organization age is at most 1 year.

We encourage youth with disability to apply to the program, so please let us know when you apply to the program and share with us what kind of assistance you need during the program if you are accepted as one of the ambassadors.

Due to particular circumstances, the Ambassador is allowed to take leave (Maximum one month) or resign from the program by providing request letters from parents, guardians, lecturers, schools, or supervisors. The letter should be addressed to project@aseanyouth.net with the subject AAP23 Resignation Request. Upon resignation, all access to information, data, training, and support will be deleted, and ambassadors are not eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion.

1. Attending the ASEAN Youth Training conducted by the organisation for at least 80% of the total training, including but not limited to:
   • Project Plan
   • Project Management
   • SDGs Class
   • Monitoring and Evaluation
2. Mentoring with the respective mentors to guide during the program and project implementation
3. Expand their outreach programs in universities, other organisations, and local districts to expand their impact on the local or international community.
4. Connect to other students and youth leaders in their area(s) to AYO.
5. Assist in publicising AYO events in the respective affiliated institutions and on various social media platforms
6. Plan and execute at least 1 event in the community, city, region, or country.
7. Implement and create a program of their choice through the help and guidance of the AYO Team and be able to create an impact on their targeted community.

Every alumnus of the AYO Ambassador program will be required to sign a Mutual Agreement with the ASEAN. Youth Organization for at least 1 year to keep coordinating, collaborating, and/or joint programs. The ASEAN Youth Organization will keep supporting the Ambassador and assist in the Ambassador Program’s growth and sustainability.

We are looking for passionate young ASEAN Youth Leaders who are fitted for the following criteria:

• Citizens of any ASEAN and Timor Leste youth between the ages of 15-23 years old.
• Be able to commit at least 6 months to the program.
• Demonstrate leadership potential and community involvement.
• Exhibit flexibility, maturity, integrity, good social skills, and open-mindedness.

• Become part of one of the largest youth-focused and youth-run organisations in Southeast Asia;
• Join the upskilling and empowerment sessions by youth leaders;
• Gaining international volunteering and leadership experience;
• Earn an international certificate awarded by AYO;
• Have the exclusive opportunity to be invited to events organised by AYO;
• Experience the satisfaction of helping young people to develop and achieve their goals;
• Build networks and connections for future collaborations.

Yes, you will receive a certificate of completion after completing the program.
