Chulalongkorn University Graduate Scholarship Program 2025 for ASEAN and Non-ASEAN Countries (Fully Funded)

Chulalongkorn University invites applications for its Graduate Scholarship Program for the 2025 academic year. This scholarship is open to international students from ASEAN and Non-ASEAN countries who wish to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral degree at Chulalongkorn University in Thailand. The program is fully funded, covering tuition, airfare, a monthly stipend, and accommodation.

The Chulalongkorn University Graduate Scholarship Program 2025 offers full financial support, including:

  1. Airfare: Economy-class round-trip ticket with a maximum limit based on the student’s origin:
    • ASEAN countries: 8,500 Baht per leg of the trip
    • Asian countries: 12,000 Baht per leg
    • Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Africa: 20,000 Baht per leg
    • North and South America: 30,000 Baht per leg
  2. Tuition Fees: Full tuition fees covered (special program fees and summer sessions not included).
  3. Monthly Stipend and Accommodation: 16,000 Baht per month for living expenses.

The scholarship supports a range of fields at Chulalongkorn University, allowing students to pursue Master’s or PhD programs in various disciplines, depending on the program they are admitted to.

  1. The scholarship duration is fixed and cannot be extended.
  2. Recipients are not allowed to defer the scholarship once it is awarded.
  3. Employment outside the university during the scholarship period is not permitted.

To be eligible for the Chulalongkorn University Graduate Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Nationality: Open to international students from ASEAN and Non-ASEAN countries.
  2. Academic Background: Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in a relevant field. Students from ASEAN or Non-ASEAN countries who have already studied for more than one semester at Chulalongkorn University are ineligible.
  3. GPA Requirements: A minimum GPA of 2.75 for undergraduate studies and 3.25 for graduate studies.
  4. Age Limit: Applicants must not be over 40 years of age.
  5. English Proficiency: Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English with a minimum TOEFL score of 500 or IELTS score of 5.0.
  6. Health: Applicants must be in good health.

Applicants must submit the following documents as part of their application:

  1. Completed application form with a 1-inch photograph.
  2. Curriculum vitae (CV).
  3. Official academic transcripts from their previous academic institution.
  4. Graduation certificate (if available).
  5. Photocopy of the applicant’s passport.
  6. Two letters of recommendation from a head, director, or dean of the applicant’s affiliated institution or supervisors.
  7. Medical certificate.

  3. Application Deadline: All relevant application documents, reviewed and approved by the Faculty/Program, must be submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs by November 15, 2024.
