Singapore International Graduate Award 2025 (Fully Funded)

SINGA is a gateway for global students to pursue doctoral studies at renowned universities in Singapore, including Nanyang Technological University (NTU), National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore Management University (SMU), and Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD). This award, in collaboration with the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR), is designed for candidates passionate about impactful research leading to a PhD in science and engineering.

  • Full Tuition Fees Coverage: The award covers all tuition fees for the entire duration of the PhD program.
  • Monthly Stipend: Recipients receive a monthly stipend of S$2,200, increasing to S$2,700 after passing the Qualifying Examination.
  • One-Time Settling-In Allowance: A one-time settling-in allowance of S$1,000 upon arrival in Singapore.
  • Airfare Grant: A one-time airfare grant of up to S$1,500.
  • Conference Allowances: Financial support to attend international conferences.

To be eligible for the SINGA 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. International Students: Open to all international graduates with a passion for research and excellent academic results.
  2. Academic Requirements: Must have completed a bachelor’s degree.
  3. English Proficiency: Proficiency in English is required, which may be assessed during the interview or by individual universities.
  4. Exclusivity: Singaporean nationals or candidates who have completed tertiary education in Singapore are not eligible. The scholarship is for PhD studies in science and engineering only, excluding social sciences, humanities, and economics.

Applicants need to submit the following documents:

  • Valid Passport Copy
  • Recent Passport-Sized Photo (in .jpeg or .png format)
  • Academic Transcripts (translated into English)
  • Two Recommendation Letters (submitted online by referees)
  • English Proficiency Certificate (if required by the university)

To apply for the Singapore International Graduate Award 2025, follow these steps:

  1. Online Application: Complete the application form on the SINGA website.
  2. Select Research Projects: Browse and select research projects from “Go to Research Areas”.
  3. Submit Documents: Upload all required documents online.
  4. Reference Letters: Referees must send reference letters directly to SINGA. Ensure to submit your application at least two weeks before the deadline to allow referees time to complete their submissions.

Application Deadline: The deadline for the SINGA 2025 scholarship is 1st December 2024. Early application is highly encouraged.
