Applications can be submitted through the official ASEAN Youth Exchange website. Applicants need to complete an online form, provide a personal statement, and submit a CV, Motivation letter, proof of commitment fee payment, and necessary documents.

The total duration of the AYO Ambassador Program is 6 months, including 2 months of Recruitment and campaign, 2 months of Training, and 2 months of Project Implementation.
For both participants and delegates of AYDF 2023, certificates will be sent approximately one month after the event concludes.
The conference will last for 3 days conference. 5 days and 4 nights, if includes arrival and departure day.
The conference will take place for 3 days, starting on 3 -5 November 2023. (Date is tentative, the committee will inform the final date by the end of August)
The AYDF will span 3 days, taking place from November 15-17, 2023, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. But, the Fully Funded Delegates are required to arrive 1 day before the event start (14 November) and leave 1 day after the program finish (18 November).
It has been 11 years, since its establishment, from 2013 and this year of 2024. AYO already initiated and organised more than 350 Activities, with more than 1.500.000 Direct & Indirect Impacts and has more than 4.500 members and alumni. With our continued support from our partners and networks, we have collected more than 800.000 USD in total funding. AYO also has a strong social media presence with more than 1.000.000 media reach monthly.

All young people between the ages of 15 and 35 who have an interest in ASEAN and Southeast Asia, in general; support the objectives of AYO are welcome to join ASEAN Youth Organization as members. We have 3 types of memberships and you can apply directly.
AYO Events are open to all of YOUth, feel free to join the event based on your interest. Some events will have requirements to join and participate, you have to fulfill the requirements to join them. Our events/projects will be published on our social media pages and published on our Event page.
AYO provides a certificate of appreciation by joining our events or activities. There are many types of event or activity. Every project have its own regulations and requirements. Definitely! As long as you are a young woman who has established profitable businesses, including from MSME industries and social enterprises in the ASEAN Member States and/or Japan or who is the CEO of enterprises using e-commerce or tech startups from urban and rural regions in ASEAN Member States and/or Japan, you are eligible to apply for this event.

AYO has been recognised and supported by the ASEAN Secretariat formally since 2018. Since then we have continued support from the ASEAN Secretariat in every project, programme and initiative also we received the approval to add the ASEAN logo and all ASEAN Member States flags to the AYO official logo. The recognition from the ASEAN Prize continued until this year when AYO received the prestigious ASEAN Prize 2024 and is expected to receive the ASEAN Prize 2024 during the ASEAN Meeting 2024 in Lao PDR in front of all the ASEAN Member States leaders. At the same time, AYO is also in the process of submitting a request to be one of the ASEAN entities.
Yes, full attendance is required. Delegates must also commit to developing one training session for the business community within six months after the forum.

Yes. The commitment fee is $5 and the registration fee (depends on which package you choose). All currencies are in USD or in Indonesian Rupiah and payment only proceeds on the AYO website.

Business and formal attire are required throughout the event. Please also prepare to bring your national costume for the cultural night.
AYC Delegates are all required to be the age of 18 years old until 35 years old. If you are above 35 years old, you are welcome to join AYC as an observer.

The airport transfer or shuttle route is only from the airport (KLIA 1 or KLIA 2) to the Sunway Resort Hotel, Selangor Malaysia. If you stay in another hotel, you may consider another transportation option.
ASEAN Youth Conference is a paid program with prices varying on application dates (early bird, first wave and final wave). However, we do provide partial scholarships, please stay tuned.
Please note that we are a non-profit organisation, so the registration fee will be all allocated for the implementation of the programme, it’s for youth, by youth and with youth.

Due to particular circumstances, the Ambassador is allowed to take leave (Maximum one month) or resign from the program by providing request letters from parents, guardians, lecturers, schools, or supervisors. The letter should be addressed to project@aseanyouth.net with the subject AAP23 Resignation Request. Upon resignation, all access to information, data, training, and support will be deleted, and ambassadors are not eligible to receive a Certificate of Completion.

ASEAN Youth Conference is an annual flagship program organized by ASEAN Youth Organization. Delegates who take part in this prestigious event not only will have the chance to interact with a diverse pool of young, talented, and energetic young adults in ASEAN but also offer an opportunity to prepare a youth declaration that will be submitted to the ASEAN Secretariat. Delegates from each pillar would have an opportunity to directly make their voices heard through this declaration in reference to their chosen ASEAN pillar.

Participants will attend the Public Forum on Day 1 only, whereas Delegates will participate in all three days of the event. Delegates are fully funded by the organizers and should attend the entire programs from 15-17 November.
Fully funded will cover all the needs during the program including hotel, meals, meeting package, merchandise, local transportation, airport transfer, and site visit. Meanwhile, partially funded will not cover the flight ticket.

ASEAN Youth Organization was founded on August 13th, 2013, by Senjaya Mulia known as Jay from Indonesia with his friend from Cambodia. Coming from a province of Central Java in Indonesia, he is active in regional youth engagement activities on social media, which brought him to establish the organization, which has successfully run in more than 14 countries and implemented more than 300 projects involving youths.
